The Bird 'Keyweee'.
She just flew in to our back yard and came over to our window a few years ago. I gave her a few bread crumbs and she jumped on my finger. I guess for a moment she was humbled and lowly of heart; but not for long.
We tried to find her owner, but w/o success. Wonder why? Well now that she is well feed, has her own place, and has all of our attention, she has developed a few nasty habits.
I do not know if she is a she or a he; but almost all people with the same personality, like always whistling or talking over me super loud when I trying to talk or watch TV, tearing up the newspaper in the bottom of the cage, throwing her seeds all over the floor, doing the strut when the gran kids come over, having anti social behavior when I talk to her sweetly, and biting the crap out of whoever (including the dog) comes over to the cage must be an ornery female.
She has a loud high pitched way of telling the neighborhood when it is her bedtime. If she does get on your finger it is a roll of the dice as to when she will let loose and mark her spot. She has worn out her welcome, but feels at home, is one of the bosses, eats all of her food, tells everyone off.... and won't leave. Trish has a way with her and is bit less often than me( females stick together). Her middle name rhymes w bite, or kite, or hit, etc. Perhaps an LA or New York street gang or the Arabs terrorists could use her as their mascot.
